Beyond our clinical programs, Cynata has demonstrated the therapeutic potential of Cymerus™ MSCs in multiple preclinical models of major diseases. Our research has shown promising results in respiratory conditions, with studies in asthma and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis revealing significant anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects. In cardiovascular applications, our preclinical work in heart attack (myocardial infarction), coronary artery disease, and critical limb ischemia has demonstrated the cells' ability to promote tissue repair and improve blood flow to damaged areas. We've also explored the immunomodulatory properties of our MSCs in sepsis models, where they have shown potential to reduce the harmful inflammatory cascade that leads to organ failure. Additionally, our preliminary investigations in brain cancer suggest MSCs may serve as targeted delivery vehicles for anti-cancer therapies, leveraging their natural ability to migrate to sites of inflammation and tumor growth.

Each of these programs represents a significant opportunity to address serious conditions where current treatment options are limited, with several near-term catalysts expected to drive our progress forward.
